Mar 1st 2015!⃝Having been in a similar situation, i think it's about a guy and a girl who broke up, the girl is pretty popular amongst the men and gets what she wants form them, so why should she have to commit to some guy? But the guy is left wishing and wanting her, she is mysterious and has aces up her sleeves, she is ahead of them game and denies him. He continues to try and win her over for himself again, he misses the nights when they would whisper sweet nothings into each others eyes, but "those nights were mainly made for saying things that you can't say tomorrow day" they were empty promises, she left him anyways, even though she said it was forever. He wants her back, but she doesn't need to commit, she can have anyone she wants. The man is left "do i wanna know if the feeling flows both ways". HE doesn't know if he really wants to know what she thinks of him. She is in control, and he is a sad man in love. I was in a relationship where i was the girl in the story, it's sad and i hate to say it, but finally my boy left and now i am the empty one....here are the lyrics so you can compare the lines to what i said i think you'll find that it lines up pretty well:
